The First Chinese School of South Australia is registered with the South Australian Department of Education and is affiliated to the non-profit organization Asian Community Services, which is run entirely by volunteers. In addition, teachers are required to complete local pedagogy training courses, provide a valid police clearance issued by local authorities, and successfully pass the School Board’s written assessment before being appointed.
